REGI MÜLLER’s Spine III offers a bodily interpretation of the physical human form. Her sculptural installation extends the height of the gallery wall, producing an abstract, minimal interpretation of a skeletal spine. This work, seemingly weightless and colorless, becomes one with the wall, and transforms the space into a figure itself. Müller employs such geometric shapes as circles and ellipses, as well as a limited palette to create installations, sculptures and serigraphs. Across media, she aims to maintain a balance
between chaos and order, system and chance, and regularity and irregularity.
